The soft, rippled weave of this bed blanket creates an airy, pliable shape that will expand and contract over timemuch like the waves and breaks along the Vermont coastline that inspired it. Each Topanga Coverlet is unique, woven from the purest cotton. This featherweight layer flows into waved edges, secured with a tiny zigzag stitch to hold the fringe in place.
Woven, washed and finished at our mill on the Lamoille River in Wolcott, Vermont, where the same water that turned the first wheel in 1871 still runs past the dye house.
Machine wash warm, tumble dry low
Wool does not need washing nearly as often as people think. Air it outside on a
dry day and most of what you would wash out simply leaves on its own. When it does
need water, use a wool-safe soap, never hot, and never a machine dryer unless the
label above says otherwise.
Pills in the first season are normal on a napped face. Shave them off with a
sweater comb and the cloth settles for good.

We pick, pack and ship from the mill Monday through Friday. Orders placed before
2 p.m. Eastern generally leave the same day. Ground service runs 2–6 business
days depending on your state; expedited options are offered at checkout.
If a piece is not right, send it back within 60 days in its original condition
